The Erie Shores Wind Farm located near Port Burwell, Ontario is the largest AIM developed project to date. With 66 operational GE 1.5SLE turbines in total, the site supplies clean, renewable energy to approximately 3,500 households annually.

AIM PowerGen has a number of projects under development in Ontario. These projects are broken into two procurement avenues, smaller scaled projects under 10MW in size are developed to qualify for the Ontario Power Authority’s Standard Offer Program while large projects, typically over 50MW are developed for consideration in Ontario’s large scale wind farm Request for Proposal process.

Each project follows a development pattern including land optioning, wind monitoring, environmental screening approval, municipal approval and finally construction. For more information on the status of each of our projects please click on the links provided.
